Versova sea link: Nod to cut mangroves in Mumbai under high court lens

Flats in Mumbai Metropolitan Region shrink by 45% in five years

Average flat sizes across the country have shrunk by 27% since 2014, and those in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) have gotten tinier. The city that never sleeps recorded the highest drop of 45% – from 960 sqft in 2014 to 530 sqft in 2019.
