From May 1 this year, the housing sector will undergo a massive change as the Real estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 (RERA), which aims to provide transparency, will finally come into force, bringing relief to homebuyers in the state.

Residents demand cheaper parking rates in new policy

Mumbai   Residents have opposed BMC's pay-and-park policy in the current form and have demanded a reduction in charges and 24-hour street parking in residential areas. They also want other concerns to be addressed before its implementation, they said at a meeting with the civic chief on Thursday .

Centre considers Rs 1.5L housing subsidy for poor
