Premium to make collector’s land freehold for housing drops to 15%

Mumbai: The Maharashtra cabinet has decided that the premium charged to convert collector’s land given for housing purposes to freehold land will be 15% of the Ready Reckoner rate, as against 50% proposed earlier.

MHADA refuses to buy 7-acre plot in Borivali to build affordable houses

In a meeting on Monday, MHADA members had proposed Rs 100 crore for purchase of land. The amount was revised to Rs 5 crore on Wednesday, following which, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis cleared the MHADA budget.
