35th Annual General Meeting of CREDAI-MCHI successfully commenced amongst the tremendous presence of over 200 Members on October 7, 2017.
The presence of very respected Past President Mr Rajni Ajmeraji added immense value to the proceedings of AGM. The occasion also marked the presence of past presidents Mr Vyomesh Shah and Mr Dharmesh Jain along with President Mr Mayur Shah, President-Elect Mr Nayan Shah, Secretary Mr Domnic Romell and Vice Presidents Mr Harish Patel, Mr Boman Irani, Deepak Goradia and Mr Nainesh Shah, CEO Shri S.S. Hussain and other members.
Program starting with National Anthem, moved on with an Audio-Visual presentation featuring Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Devendra Fadnavis sharing his views on “Housing for All” and how developers in the state are gearing up to fulfill the vision of Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi and appreciating the efforts made by CREDAI-MCHI members towards Affordable Housing in the State. The audio-visual also presented the perspective of Mr Nayan Shah, Mr Domnic Romell, Mr Nainesh Shah and Mr Deepak Goradia.
Mr Domnic Romell, Hony. Secretary, CREDAI-MCHI taking forward the deliberations and proceeding of Annual- General Meeting like: Confirming the Minutes of 34th AGM, receiving and adopting the Auditors Report and Audited Statement of Accounts for the year ended 31st March 2017, considering and adopting Managing Committee Report for the year 2016 -17 and ending it with the Presentation on Achievements & Accomplishments by CREDAI-MCHI titled: 2016-17: The Year of Reform & Transformation.
Mr Mayur Shah, President, CREDAI – MCHI made a very insightful and knowledge-driven presentation titled: Benefits achieved by MCHI and Future Focus of MCHI which presented outlay of all-round efforts w.r.t. Auto DCR 1.0: Process Flows at MCGM, Way forward – EODB Revenue, Civil Aviation, UD/ ULC/ SRA, Pace of Reforms – Release of GRs/ Circulars, Legal Matters in court and Social Responsibility of Clean, Green and Skilled Mumbai.
Mr Tejas Vyas, Chairman-Exhibition Committee, CREDAI –MCHI made a presentation on upcoming Property Expo being held from November 16 – 19, 2017. He asked members to participate in big numbers to make as a grand success. He added 28th edition of Expo has evinced deep interest amongst participants owing to the prevalent scenario.
Mrs Sonal Shah, Chairperson – Women’s Wing CREDAI-MCHI, made a very informative presentation on CSR activities undertaken by Women’s Wing during the year and appealed members for participation towards scholarship initiative undertaken by the Women’s Wing.
Shri Vyomesh Shah, Past President, Returning Officer declared the results of the Managing Committee Elections for the term 2017-18, 2018-19, 2019-2020.
Another audio-visual was played showing the perspective of Mr Dharmesh Jain on Right to Play and Mr Nainesh Shah on resources invested in contesting Legal Cases by CREDAI-MCHI.
A Power – Packed Knowledge Session was also part of AGM which benefitted members present immensely.

- Mr Mayur Shah, President, CREDAI-MCHI made an exhaustive presentation titled: Current Economy & Real Estate: Post Demo, RERA and GST.
- Mr Mukesh Patel, Jt. Treasurer, CREDAI-MCHI made a presentation titled: Marketing: What to do and what not to do in which he presented an elaborate case study of Lodha Developers and Rustomjee.
- Mr Boman Irani, Vice President, CREDAI-MCHI addressed the audience in his own imitable style mentioning that we should unite as an industry to present our point across at all relevant quarters. Huge opportunities are opening up with PM’s Mission of “Housing for All” which indicates the need for 6 crore homes by 2022.
- Mr Vyomesh Shah, Past President, CREDAI-MCHI discussed threadbare – Life After RERA where he elaborated on what RERA entails for developers now and in coming times who commented that: Apna RERA ke Saath PHERA ho gaya!
The knowledge session was followed by highly interactive Q & A session where developer members who asked wide-ranging questions right from RERA to SRA, Legal etc.
The session concluded with a presentation by Ms Seema Jairath of CREDAI-National on International Expo being held in DUBAI in December 2017.
