MCHI – CREDAI Women’s Wing meeting commenced on September 20, 2016 at Happy Home Builders -Thakurli Site office located at Kalyan (East) where the Cancer Awareness Camp was organized for construction workers.
The Health Task Force team in association with Vasantha Memorial Trust organized Cancer Awareness & Oral Screening Camp for Cancer for the site labourers which was conducted by Government Dental College Doctors.
The inauguration began with the ceremonial lamp lighting by Shri Praful Shah -President of MCHI CREDAI- Kalyan -Dombivali Unit. The camp witnessed whole-hearted and enthusiastic participation by Women’s Wing members: Mrs./ s Sonal Shah, Anuradha Shah, Sejal Garodia and Jesal Shah. Around 150 construction workers attended the camp and Oral screening check up was done by the doctors.
They were greatly benefited by the motivational talk and presentation given by Mrs. Jayalakshmi of Vasantha Memorial Trust. A short film based on Cancer was shown to the construction workers to increase the awareness about cancer.
